In keeping with the spirit of Christmas and Southern Design tradition Susie organised an office Secret Santa.  Though it’s always rather difficult for secrets to be kept, this year Secret Santa prevailed.
Sam could hardly believe his luck at his gift, a Justin Bieber CD and DVD!!!  Ben eagerly ripped into his package and was clearly a satisfied customer.
Jeff wasn’t too sure if Santa himself  was inside his sack, while Dave wasn’t quite sure what to do with his gift.
Santa brought a huge smile to Carly’s face and Susie got a shiny red toy.  She’s now waiting for the key to the read deal.
Lots of fun and laughter were had as we opened our gifts over breakfast.
When the office closes later, we’ll be dancing to Bieber and making good use of the girl’s gifts.

Southern Design’s 10th Birthday Celebrations

Southern Design recently celebrated it’s 10th Birthday by hitting the greens at Paddington Bowling Club for a special afternoon of lawn bowls, canapes and cold refreshments. After working tirelessly for the last decade, we felt it was time to take a break and celebrate this amazing milestone with our clients and close friends. The day was a huge success with those attending showcasing their athletic prowess while soaking up the balmy Autumn weather. Thanks to all who supported the day. Some of us however, will be sticking to our day jobs!

Branding – The Berry Tea Shop

We have been lucky enough to be commissioned to help brand a start-up business located in the Shoalhaven Region of NSW. After many years in the Sydney café business, Cliff and Paulina Collier undertook a tree-change and established The Berry Tea Shop in Berry, NSW. Southern Design has been involved from the very early stages and have created a brand that is fun, fresh and symbolic of tea and the marvellous effects it has on people. The shop truly needs to be seen to be believed. It is an eclectic mix of amazing teas and fine tea wares from around the world. You must drop in the next time you are in Berry. Swarovski

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome one of our new clients, Swarovski International (Australia). Southern Design began working with the team at Swarovski in the second half of 2010 and are helping with brand strategy, campaign development and design collateral. We have loved every minute so far of our new association and we think it may have something to do with their beautiful products.
